NBA, Clippers and Jazz agree to trade

The Clippers drop below the Luxury Tax threshold

A few days before the trade deadline Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz move the NBA market with a trade involving 5 players.

According to Shams Charania, the Clippers traded PJ Tucker (most likely to be released), Mo Bamba and a second-round pick to the Salt Lake City team for Drew Eubanks and Patty Mills.

The Clippers through this move drop about 4 million below the Luxury Tax threshold, a bit of flexibility that could come in handy even after the Trade Deadline in the buyout market.

In addition, Coach Lue’s team adds two experienced players who could help out if needed coming off the bench.

Eubanks was producing 5.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 15 minutes per game.
