Munich doesn’t feel like an away game for Fenerbahçe: 89-77 win and second place secured

Fenerbahçe cruises past Bayern and locks up second place in the EuroLeague regular season

In a game that felt anything but a road match, Fenerbahçe dominated Bayern Munich 89-77 in front of a mostly yellow-and-blue crowd. The Turkish team came out firing, quickly jumping to a double-digit lead (18-4) thanks to strong defense on Carsen Edwards, who was shut down in the first half.

Nigel Hayes-Davis led the way with 24 points and 5 three-pointers, while Baldwin, McCollum, Melli and Biberovic each added 11. Despite a second-half push by Edwards — who finished with 26 points, matching Devin Booker — the German side never really got back into it. With this win, and Olympiacos also victorious, Fenerbahçe secures second place heading into the playoffs.
