The Minnesota Timberwolves have announced the acquisition of French center Rudy Gobert.
In return, the Utah Jazz get Patrick Beverley, Malik Beasley , Jarred Vanderbilt, Leandro Bolmaro, the rights of rookie center Walker Kessler and Minnesota’s 2023, 2025, 2027 and 2029 first round picks, plus the option to swap the 2026 first round pick.
The 30-year-old French big man leaves Salt Lake City after 9 seasons (15.5 PPG, 14.6 RPG, 2.1 BPG, 71% FG, 69% FT last year).
Gobert still has 3 years left on his contract for about 123 million total, plus a player option of over 46 million.
