In recent days, Brook Lopez’s name has been among the players most likely to be involved in trades, but putting an end to those rumors was Jon Horst, the general manager of the Milwaukee Bucks. These are his statements on the long-time former Brooklyn Nets player released to The Athletic.
Jon Horst’s words: “I know the rumors help make the NBA so interesting, they get people talking about it all the time. I don’t usually talk to the media about these things, but given how important Brook Lopez is to us, I have to say that we have no intention of trading him. Obviously he has interest from other teams, that’s to his credit. But we have not had any conversations to include him in trades. My job is to respond to the calls I get, but Brook has been and will continue to be the core of who we are”.
