Milano star Shields reportedly out at least 2 months after wrist injury

Olimpia Milano star Shavon Shields will be sidelined at least 2 months after the wrist injury sustained in the final minutes of Euroleague matchup against Real Madrid, according to Gazzetta dello Sport

Milano is still evaluating therapies and seeking a clear timeline for the player’s recovery, but with the aforementioned timespan the team won’t probably sign a replacement for Shields, according to the newspaper.

Olimpia is limited by Italian rules to register only one additional player for the remainder of the LBA season and that player has to have a EU passport or having already played in Italy this season.
