Billionaire Michael Bloomberg, former mayor of New York City, has agreed to join the Minnesota Timberwolves ownership group led by Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez, sources tell The Athletic.
Bloomberg, ranked by Forbes as one of the world’s richest individuals, brings substantial financial support to the group seeking majority control of the Timberwolves and the Lynx.
