The Miami Heat won Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs at home against the Boston Celtics to even the series at 1-1 and eliminate the home-court advantage. They did so by playing a top-notch defensive game, as well as maintaining a sumptuous three-point shooting percentage: in fact, the Heat registered a super 23/43 from three-point range, which equals 53.5 percent shooting. It is a masterstroke by coach Spoelstra and his players, as the Celtics are clearly superior on a roster level, taking into account the absences of Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier.
The Heat culture is once again proving to be flawless in the NBA playoffs, this time categorically refuting the claims made by Kendrick Perkins a few days ago. In fact, the former player had stated that: “The Miami Heat could shoot 100 percent from the field and 100 percent from three, but they will still get swept in this series. They simply do not have the roster to compete with the Boston Celtics. That’s it.”
The series is currently tied at 1-1 and now heads to Florida to play back-to-back games at the home of the Miami Heat. The road has suddenly become uphill for the Boston Celtics, although Tatum and his teammates have all the cards in their favor to regain the home-court advantage. One thing is for sure: never bet against the Miami Heat in the playoffs.
