The Mets de Guaynabo have signed a duo of former NBA players to bolster the roster under the boards.
They are Derrick Williams, a former second overall pick also seen several times in the Euroleague, and DeMarcus Cousins, a 4-time All Star center and 2016 Olympic champion with Team USA.
Cousins returned to the Mets in a trade with the Vaqueros de Bayamon, another Puerto Rican team that has decided to focus on players with significant NBA pasts (JaVale McGee and Danilo Gallinari).
