Mavericks’ Olivier-Maxence Prosper undergoes season-ending wrist surgery

The Dallas forward is out for the season as injuries continue to pile up for the defending Western Conference champs

Olivier-Maxence Prosper has undergone season-ending surgery on his right wrist, the Dallas Mavericks announced Thursday night. The procedure took place a day earlier, confirming he will not return this season.

Following the Luka Doncic trade to the Lakers for Anthony Davis, Prosper saw increased playing time, even making his second start of the season.

A 2023 first-round pick, Prosper averaged 3.9 points and 2.4 rebounds in 11 minutes per game. The Mavericks, currently 10th in the West, are fighting to secure the final spot in the Play-In Tournament.
