The Dallas Mavericks denied JJ Redick’s accusation regarding the MRI performed on Austin Reaves.

The franchise said its medical staff followed standard imaging protocols based on the information provided and insisted there was no error in the scan.

Redick had claimed the wrong area was scanned, though he later softened his stance and acknowledged that the Lakers eventually got the imaging they needed.

Reaves has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 left oblique strain and, according to ESPN, is expected to be out for four to six weeks.
