Matteo Spagnolo, an Italian point guard under contract with Real Madrid but currently with Vanoli Cremona, has decided to enter the upcoming NBA Draft.
Spagnolo has showed his skills as a starting pointguard in the italian LBA, averaging 12.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 27 minutes per game, shooting 44% from the field, 44% from long range, and 86% from the foul line.
Being just 19 years old, Spagnolo has the option to opt out of the draft and declare next season.
ESPN has him ranked No. 53 in the latest top 100 for the 2022 Draft Class.
NBA Draft expert Mike Schmitz called Spagnolo the best point guard among internationals prospects.
