Mateusz Ponitka landed in Greece to join Panathinaikos.
The Polish player left Pallacanestro Reggiana, with whom he signed a contract during the summer, to join the Greek powerhouse (which paid around €100.000 as buyout to the Italian team).
Per Eurohoops, “When Panathinaikos wants you and calls for you, it’s not a hard decision. Taking into consideration the whole history of the club, it’s easy. I want to be part of this family and historic club” he commented.
