Papadopoulos will handle sporting operations and EuroLeague relations, leveraging his deep experience from years with Panathinaikos. With Ofer Yannay investing heavily, Hapoel aims to establish itself as a long-term EuroLeague contender.

The team is also exploring Limassol as a home court option and is in talks with Vasilije Micic to bring him back from the NBA, signaling a bold project both on and off the court.
