Maccabi’s Jaylen Hoard Out 2-4 Weeks with Hamstring Injury

The French forward sidelined after suffering an injury against Hapoel Be’er Sheva

Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv has announced that Jaylen Hoard will be out for two to four weeks due to a torn hamstring. The forward sustained the injury in a recent domestic league game against Hapoel Altshuler Shaham Be’er Sheva/Dimona, with an MRI confirming the extent of the damage.

Hoard has been having a strong season, averaging 13.3 points and 6.1 rebounds in the Winner League and 15.0 points and 5.1 rebounds in EuroLeague, starting 21 of 23 games under head coach Oded Kattash. Maccabi, currently 6-17 in the standings, will face ALBA Berlin in Round 24 in Belgrade.
