Luka Doncic made his debut for the Los Angeles Lakers, scoring 14 points in 24 minutes during a 132-113 win over the Utah Jazz. Returning from a calf strain, Doncic added 5 rebounds and 4 assists, including a spectacular full-court pass to LeBron James.

The crowd at Crypto.com Arena erupted with chants of “Luka! Luka!”, and even LeBron sported a Doncic-themed shirt during warm-ups. “It was surreal to see all those jerseys with my name,” Doncic said.

Lakers coach JJ Redick praised his performance: “Luka handled the moment well. His legs aren’t fully there yet, but his playmaking fits perfectly.”
Notably, Dirk Nowitzki, Doncic’s mentor from his Dallas days, was in attendance to support him.
