Luka Doncic donates $500,000 to Southern California wildfire recovery efforts

Luka Doncic, the newest star of the Los Angeles Lakers, has donated $500,000 through his foundation to aid recovery efforts following the devastating wildfires in Southern California.

“It’s heartbreaking to see the damage from the wildfires since I arrived in L.A.,” Doncic said. “My heart goes out to all the kids who lost their homes, schools, and the places where they used to play with friends.”

In addition to the donation, Doncic committed to rebuilding courts, playgrounds, and safe spaces for children. “We’re here to help, now and for the long haul. Your new neighbor,” shared the Slovenian star in a heartfelt message.
