Los Angeles Lakers on the market in search of a centre: two candidates

Los Angeles Lakers, on the market in search of a centre: there are two names linked to the yellow-viola franchise.

The Los Angeles Lakers are in the market for a centre. According to Jake Fischer, the yellow and purple franchise are said to be pursuing Jonas Valanciunas and Robert Williams III. Valanciunas, of the New Orleans Pelicans, is one of the names the Lakers have been linked with since the summer, with LeBron James reportedly keen to bring him to the club. His salary of $9.9 million is also one that could easily be included in a trade. As for Williams III, the trade is certainly more complicated: not because of the salary, he also has a contract that is not heavy, but the Portland Trail Blazers are very happy with his presence on a young roster and seem to be oriented towards a trade if the right offer comes, plus DeAndre Ayton, who has a salary of $34 million for this season and $35.5 for next. Obviously, the financial aspect is a big obstacle for this trade.
