The Los Angeles Lakers were eliminated by the Denver Nuggets in the NBA playoffs and are now preparing to plan for next season. According to a report by Jovan Buha, the Los Angeles franchise has reportedly placed Donovan Mitchell at the top of its list of market targets and therefore plans to approach the deal aggressively should he not sign a long-term contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
For their part, the Lakers could offer up to three first-round picks in the NBA Draft (2024, 2029, 2031) in exchange for Donovan Mitchell in any proposed trade.
