London inks forward Donte Grantham
Grantham arrives from Sluc Nancy. He started his professional career with Oklahoma City Thunder
London Lions added a new forward to its roster by inking Donte Grantham to a one-year deal, the club announced Friday night. Grantham (2.03 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Sluc Nancy, where he averaged 8.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 25 French League games last season. He is set to make his BKT EuroCup debut with London in the upcoming 2023-24 campaign.
Grantham started his professional career with Oklahoma City Thunder of the NBA and also played for two G League teams, Oklahoma City Blue and Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario. He also played for another French team, Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket, before joining Nancy last season. “There are not a lot of guys like Donte Graham out there,” London general managers Brett Burman said. “This combination of talent, skill and versatility is hard to find. We are excited to welcome him to our organization.”
