LeBron James wrote another page of history on NBA night, yet another in his incredible career. In fact, against the Denver Nuggets, the King touched and then surpassed 40.000 career points, a wall that seemed impossible to climb just a few years ago. After surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the league’s all-time leading scorer, LeBron James continues to produce points at will every time he takes the court, pushing the number to be surpassed further and further away from becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, if anyone ever does.
The Lakers player came into the game against the Denver Nuggets just 9 points shy of 40,000 points, a ridiculous figure for him, who scored 26 points in the game his team later lost.
