LeBron James to Golden State Warriors? The unbelievable trade blocked by Rich Paul

Over the course of last season, there were market rumors of LeBron James to the Golden State Warriors via trade. The deal would have directly involved the owners of the Warriors and Lakers, but in the end the white smoke did not come, with the yellow-viola reportedly saying they would only trade James if there was a request from the interested party. According to Marc Stein’s report, it was the Lakers’ agent Rich Paul who broke off the negotiations in order to protect his main client from the criticism that would be directed at him if he were to join the Warriors.
