Shane Larkin and Sertac Sanli have both been included as part of Turkey’s 17-player squad for the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers later this month.
Larkin made his debut for the national team during the FIBA EuroBasket 2022 Qualifiers and is one of four Anadolu Efes players called up for the first window.
Sanli competed at the last World Cup alongside Melih Mahmutoglu and Bugrahan Tuncer, who all bring an abundance of experience, while there are also call-ups for 20-year-old Sadik Emir Kabaca and teenage center Furkan Haltali.

Turkey begin their journey towards the 2023 edition of the World Cup with an opening qualifying game against Belarus on Thursday, November 25 before their first home game takes place in Istanbul against Great Britain.
