In an interview with TrendBasket, Kyle Hines talks his decision to join AX Armani Exchange Milan.
“I felt I needed a change,” Hines said. “I have been at CSKA for seven years and so it has not been an easy change. Moscow has been home for my family for the past seven years, but I felt I needed a change. I needed a new opportunity and new challenges. I feel now that Milan offered me these opportunities.”
“I realized that Milan was seriously interested in me. I thought if I were to leave CSKA, Milan would be the only team I would go to. I am familiar with coach Messina because he was my first coach at CSKA. The General Manager (Stavropoulos) was the person who brought me to Olympiacos in 2011, early in my career. I also have teammates that I have played with in the past and that I am familiar with. From this point of view, I felt comfortable about this situation.”
