Kokoskov: We stuck to the game plan, the energy of the second unit changed the game

“Like we mentioned before the game, we knew it was going to be a very difficult game for us. There is a lot of talent in Maccabi’s team. A lot of threats come from its perimeters players, Wilbekin, Dorsey, and also its big guys, Zizic is a dominant player, so we knew we had to bring our best game to give ourselves a chance to win this game. I think that the game plan, overall, was good. We stuck to the game plan, but even putting the game plan on the side, it is about the players and the energy that we brought, especially our second unit, which changed the game. We got a couple of defensive stops and then the energy and the momentum went on our side. That was the crucial part of the game”.
