KK Partizan president Mijailovic: Our budget is 6 million euros

During an interview with 24sedam, president of KK Partizan Belgrade Ostoija Mijailovic said that the budget of the Serbian club is 6 million euros:

“Due to the concerns of the public, I am presenting the information that the budget of BC Partizan for the first team, players of younger categories and the professional staff is around 6 million euros! Which is more or less within the framework of what we had in the previous two seasons. But somone seems to be worried, so they spread the figures on social networks or through the media. I will not talk individually about the salaries of players, it is rude to them and their families… But I must point out: If money was the deciding factor, Partizan would not be the first choice of our coach or new players. This is clear to anyone who follows sports at all and has good intentions”

In the summer, Partizan welcomed back coach Zeljko Obradovic and signed important players such as Aleksa Avramovic, Balsa Koprivica, Rodions Kurucs, Zach LeDay, Yam Madar, Dallas Moore, Kevin Punter and Alen Smailagic.
