According to Sports Illustrated’s Howard Beck, the Sacramento Kings are unlikely to trade either Harrison Barnes or Buddy Hield before the trade deadline, unless “they’re blown away by an offer”, as the management wants to stay competitive instead of tanking.
Barnes is under contract until the end of the 2022-23 season, while Hield’s contract expires in summer 2024.
