Khadeen Carrington is one of the four new faces of the new Endesa League champion, TD Systems Baskonia, for this new season. In his official presentation, the Trinidad and Tobago-born player has been very excited about this new adventure that will mark his debut in the top European competition after a season in the German league. “This is a place where I can grow and develop as a player. This club and the coach can help me to do so ”, he stated in his debut.
The new Baskonista addition stands out for its versatility. He is the modern ‘combo’ that can play as a pointguard and also as a shooting guard. “The coach has been clear, he wants me to play with and without the ball and in both positions,” he revealed. He describes himself as a player who likes “to play hard, press the ball, fast transitions, wrap the team and pass the ball” and is clear that he will do “whatever the team needs and my coach asks of me.”
After three weeks of training, tomorrow in Burgos the team will play its first friendly match, a match that will allow the new players to play their first minutes with the Baskonista jersey. A game for which Youssoupha Fall is ruled out, who is already facing the final stretch of his recovery before being able to join the group.
