Kevin Pangos’ stellar game leads Zenit to force Game 5 vs Barcelona

Behind Kevin Pangos’ stellar second half, Zenit St Petersburg handle Barcelona its worst loss of the season in Game 4, forcing a decisive Game 5 next week in Spain. Canadian guard (and former Barcelona himself) scored 18 of his 22 points in the second half, with Zenit limiting the visitors to only 38 points after 3 quarter. It is the worst Euroleague loss of the season for Barcelona both for points scored and final deficit.

After Pangos’ 22 points (with also 8 assists), Zenit had 12 from Poythress and 11 each from Hollins and Black. Calathes with 19 points and Higgins with 13 were the only Barcelona players in double figure, with Mirotic ending with 7 points and 2/11 FG.
