Kevin Durant could return from sprained MCL next week

Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant continues to make progress in his rehab from a sprained left MCL and his return to the floor will happen at some point in the next week.

“Every day closer,” Nets coach Steve Nash said after shootaround before Saturday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. “We’ll see. I expect in the next week he’ll be back for sure. It could be quick; it could be the whole week barring any setbacks.”
