Kevin Durant and Mike Conley can add Oscar winners to their professional résumés.
Per USA Today, The Brooklyn Nets forward and Utah Jazz guard served as executive producers for “Two Distant Strangers,” which won the Academy Award on Sunday night for best live-action short.
The film written by Travon Free, who also co-directed with Martin Desmond Roe, tells the story of a Black man, played by rapper and actor Joey Bada$$, who gets stuck in a time loop re-living a deadly run-in with a police officer. “Two Distant Strangers” is currently available to stream on Netflix.
