Last night the Phoenix Suns defeated the Denver Nuggets with 54 points from the Kevin Durant – Chris Paul duo.

The forward, still undefeated since his arrival in Arizona, scored 29 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists, while the point guard knocked down 7 of 12 triples attempted, a new career-high for him.

“I should have made more,” Paul said. “That’s why these games are important. This is a new way, I never really played with guys getting doubled like this. You need to use these games.”
