Former NBA player Stephen Jackson held a press conference in Minneapolis to demand justice for his friend George Floyd, who was murdered by a police officer on Monday.
Minnesota Timberwolves players Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Okogie attended the press conference.
“We’re gonna use our platform, Jackson said. “I’m going to use everything I have to get a conviction, to get all these motherf—— in jail. Excuse my French, I’m angry, but I’m a proud black man.”
Wolves said Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Okogie were expected to attend. https://t.co/vccz5heZFM
