Rokas Jokubaitis is expected to leave Barcelona at the end of this season. The Lithuanian player will take part in the NBA Summer League over the summer to try to pursue his dream of joining the world’s top basketball league and then play overseas, but if he is unsuccessful he could return to Europe, but not with the Blaugrana jersey. In fact, Zalgiris Kaunas, which is also interested in Alex Poythress, is on the player’s trail. For Jokubaitis it would be a return, given that basketball-wise he was ‘born’ in Zalgiris, the club that also launched him at the highest European levels.
Jokubaitis is averaging 5.7 points and 3.2 assists per game this EuroLeague season.
