“I am very happy to be in Munich and to return to Germany and the Bundesliga after many years abroad,” said Johannes Voigtmann after his first visit to the BMW Park. “I will now be part of what I believe is a very exciting project at Bayern, with great potential, a new arena, a new coach, and many players I have already played with and enjoy playing with. There is also a close family connection to Munich. It all fits perfectly, and I am looking forward to this new challenge, the team, and the fans in Munich.”

Last year the 31-year-old German big man produced 7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2 assists per game in Euroleague.
