- Low-dose radiation therapy
- Osteotomy, a procedure where doctors break a bone in the hip to realign the joint and alleviate pressure
A source described these procedures as “radical,” considering the initial injury was supposed to be routine. However, something has gone terribly wrong in his recovery.
Meanwhile, if Embiid is not with the Sixers next season, the Toronto Raptors are the favorites to land him, according to Bovada (+1500), followed by the Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets (+1800) and the Phoenix Suns (+2500).
