JJ Redick praises Lakers’ practice, regrets Game 1 lack of focus

The Lakers coach called Monday’s session the best in months but criticized his team’s lack of preparation before Game 1 loss

JJ Redick said the Los Angeles Lakers had “the best practice we’ve had in months” ahead of Game 2 against Minnesota, but admitted the team lacked focus leading into the series.

“We probably could have done a few more scrimmages,” he noted. Redick blamed poor organization and energy for Game 1’s 117-95 loss.

Austin Reaves added: “We just got to adjust and be ourselves.” Game 2 will be in L.A.
