Jazz reportedly considered trading Joe Ingles in offseason

The Utah Jazz have considered trading Joe Ingles during last offseason.

Per RealGM, The Utah Jazz entertained the possibility of trading Joe Ingles during the offseason, but decided they “couldn’t stomach the culture hit of sending him away,” sources tell Marc Stein of Substack.

Tim MacMahon had a similar report on The Hoop Collective podcast this week.

It is unclear who the Jazz were targeting in a trade of Ingles. Ingles has a traceable $13 million expiring contract.

The Jazz are in need of an improved point of attack defensive option.
