Jaylen Wells suffered a broken right wrist Tuesday night during Memphis’ win over Charlotte. The injury came after a fast-break dunk when Wells collided midair with K.J. Simpson, who inadvertently undercut him.
Wells landed hard on his arm and head and was stretchered off after eight minutes on the court. Simpson received a Flagrant 2 and was ejected.
Yikes! 😬 that’s a scary injury for Wells… I hope he’s ok!
Flat out dirty play by Simpson! There’s no reason to jump when you have no intention of contesting!
Simpson should have to cover any revenue lost to Wells if he’s seriously injured. #nba #wells #injury pic.twitter.com/bNPU1aBIou— Reavo (@TheReavo) April 9, 2025
