Boston Celtics swingman Jaylen Brown said that he and his teammates are not worried that they will have to comply with strict safety rules in the Orlando Bubble, and are ready to remain isolated and away from loved ones for three months.
These are sacrifices that can be accepted if the NBA title is at stake
“We’re on a mission, all of us here,” Jaylen Brown said during a Zoom conference call with the media Friday afternoon following the team’s first practice in Orlando. “We don’t want to do too much complaining about other stuff. We want to focus on what we can control and divert most of our energy to why we’re here.”
Before the suspension Brown was averaging over 20 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assist per game, shooting 49% from the field, 38% from long range and 73% from the foul line.
