Jaume Ponsarnau and Valencia Basket have reached an agreement for the Catalan coach to continue being the coach of the first male squad for at least one more season, until June 30, 2021.
Ponsarnau joined the Valencia Basket coaching staff in the summer of 2016 and after two seasons as assistant coach, he took over the team as head coach for the 2018-19 season. In his two courses at the helm of the team, Ponsarnau has classified the Taronja team twice in third place in the Endesa League and last season added the seventh title to the Club’s record by winning the 2018-19 EuroCup.
