Givova Scafati and Janis Strelnieks are close to reaching an agreement, a source told Sportando’s Emiliano Carchia.
The 34-year-old Latvian point guard spent last season in Greece with Aek Athens (14 points and 3 assists in the BCL). An injury ended his season prematurely, but now the experienced playmaker is ready to get back on track.
During his career, Strelnieks has defended the colours of prestigious European teams such as CSKA Moscow, Olympiacos and Zalgiris Kaunas.
