Philadelphia 76ers guard James Harden skipped practice for the second straight day, with the team officially stating that the disgruntled player is away due to a personal matter. Harden, who has yet to play in the preseason, continued to practice with the 76ers despite his offseason trade demand. He stated last week that his fractured relationship with team president Daryl Morey could not be repaired. Part of Harden’s complaint stems from his belief that he should have earned a long-term contract with the Sixers after last season, which never materialized.
