James Harden has indicated to the Houston Rockets he would be willing to accept a trade to a contending team beyond the Brooklyn Nets, which includes the Philadelphia 76ers, reported Adrian Wojnarowski and Tim MacMahon of ESPN. Harden’s preference has been to join Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving with the Nets.
The Rockets and the Sixers have had no substantive talks about a potential Harden deal, with new Sixers president Morey reportedly believed to have no interest in breaking up his duo of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.
