In the Los Angeles Clippers’ victory over the Utah Jazz on NBA Night, James Harden reached a prestigious milestone by surpassing Ray Allen in the number of triples he has made in his NBA career. The Beard, as he is known, took his career triple total to 2975 with his two baskets from deep against the Jazz, leaving the former Boston Celtics and Miami Heat sharpshooter with 2973. In doing so, James Harden became the second player in NBA history to reach 2,975 triples, behind only Stephen Curry. This is what the Los Angeles Clippers player had to say after the game.
Harden’s words: “I’m one of the most confident players in the league, but no, I probably won’t be able to top Steph. I don’t think anybody ever will: if it happens, it’ll probably happen when we’re not here anymore”.
