James Harden interested in playing for Clippers, ready to join 76ers training camp without trade

According to sources and Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, James Harden is still only interested in playing for the Los Angeles Clippers in the upcoming season. However, if no trade occurs before then, sources also state that Harden intends to go to training camp with the Philadelphia 76ers.

While in the building, Harden previously gave the Brooklyn Nets and Houston Rockets the impression that they had no choice but to trade for him.

The Sixers and any other club save the Clippers have not engaged in meaningful trade negotiations over Harden. Harden’s team is certain he will ultimately be dealt to the Clippers, and opposing front offices have been informed of this. Harden is dedicated to playing for the Clippers.
