Ismael Kamagate will play with Olimpia Milano next season, as confirmed by Nuggets’ assistant GM, Tommy Balcetis.
The French center will replace Brandon Davies, who signed with Valencia yesterday. Kamagate averaged 9.3 points and 8.5 rebounds last EuroCup season with Paris Basketball.
The French center is currently in the United States to participate in the Summer League. His team, the Denver Nuggets, will make their debut on Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks, but in the meantime, the French center is the talk of the town.
Insider Harrison Wind spoke about him with Tommy Balcetis, the assistant GM of the Denver Nuggets. The executive confirmed the focus on the player, who is expected to be ready in one or two years to be a backup in the center role.
