Paris Basketball big man Ismael Kamagate talks to Le Parisien about plans for his NBA future:
“The goal is to play with the Nuggets next season. I’m still in contact with them. They listen to me, they give a lot of advice, I often talk to the scouts, the coaches, the GM. They often come to Paris, they come to the games, we talk about my performance, they tell me what I need to work on, so it’s going well, it’s constructive. I have to show that they can trust me.
Denver is a very nice city, the team has a strong work ethic. It is inspiring to think that one day I will be able to train and play with Nikola Jokic. ”
The 21-year-old center, selected by the Nuggets at No. 43 in the 2022 NBA Draft, is averaging 10.6 points – shooting with an incredible 81% from the field-, 8.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in 13 games between BetClic Elite and Eurocup.
