The Phoenix Suns have decided to bring Isaiah Thomas back to Arizona on a 10-day contract, Shams Charania reports.
The 2-time All Star, who was out of the NBA since the 2021-22 season, had just joined the Salt Lake City Stars.
Thomas scored a total of 130 points (44 percent from three on 56 attempts) in 4 G League games.
According to John Gambadoro, the 35-year-old point guard is expected to have a good chance of staying until the end of the season.
Thomas will be an option in case of injury in the Suns’ backcourt.

Isaiah Thomas is coming to Phoenix on a 10-day contract per a report but the expectation is that he will take the Suns final roster spot. I would doubt he cracks the 8-9 man playoff rotation so more insurance policy if one of the guards would get injured.
