In the battle in Istanbul, Monaco prevails and forces Game 5: beat Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce failed to capitalize on a home-court advantage and lost to Monaco in Game 4 of the EuroLeague playoffs, forcing a Game 5.

Monaco did not give up and won in Turkey Game 4 of the 2024 NBA Playoffs against Fenerbahce, at the end of a battle in which defenses often got the better of the attacks, also accomplice to the great tension. Coach Jasikevicius’ team failed to take advantage of the home match-point and consequently to decree the team that will go to the Final Four there must be Race 5, which will be played at the home of Monaco. The final score was 62-65, a testament to the difficulty the two offenses made, which generally give high-scoring games.

Guduric’s 14 points, Wilbekin’s 11 and Papagiannis’ double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds were not enough for Fenerbahce.

Monaco got 13 points from Okobo, 10 points from Mike James, who had a difficult night but hit a very important triple in the final, and 10 points from Motiejunas.
