Promitheas Patras had an easy job against Panionios in the last quarter-final of the Hellenic Cup. The game ended 88-48 in favour of coach Papatheodorou’s men, who will now face Olympiacos in the semi-finals. Promitheas showed their superiority in the opening minutes, starting the challenge with a super 6/10 from behind the arc and a 30-16 run at the end of the first period.
Promitheas got 16 points from Reynolds, 13 from Bazinas and 13 from Hale, who also had 7 assists. For Panionios, Kaklamanakis was the only player in double figures with 10 points and 7 rebounds.
